All animals and humans just appeared for no specific reason. If a sheer chance and big bang produced this beautiful world that sustains all these living creatures then we should bang metals and hit some stones together to produce a big beautiful house, or for that matter anything we would like to have.
INTERESTING CONVERSATION
An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty. He asks one of his new Muslim students to stand and.....
Professor: You are a Muslim, aren't you, son?
Student : Yes, sir.
Prof: So you believe in God?
Student : Absolutely, sir.
Prof: Is God good?
Student : Sure.
Prof: Is God all-powerful?
Student : Yes.
Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him.
Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't.
How is this God good then? Hmm?
(Student is silent.)
Prof: You can't answer, can you? Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?
Student :Yes.
Prof: Is Satan good?
Student : No.
Prof: Where does Satan come from?
Student : From...God...
Prof: That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student : Yes.
Prof: Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything. Correct?
Student : Yes.
Prof: So who created evil?
(Student does not answer.)
Prof: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness?
All these terrible things exist in the world, don't they?
Student :Yes, sir.
Prof: So, who created them?
(Student has no answer.)
Prof: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the
world around you. Tell me, son...Have you ever seen God?
Student: No, sir.
Prof: Tell us if you have ever heard your God?
Student : No , sir.
Prof: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God?
Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?
Student : No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.
Prof: Yet you still believe in Him?
Student : Yes.
Prof: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says
your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student : Nothing. I only have my faith.
Prof: Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.
Student : Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
Prof: Yes.
Student : And is there such a thing as cold?
Prof: Yes.
Student : No sir. There isn't.
(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)
Student : Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat,
white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don't have anything called cold.
We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't go
any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we
use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold.
Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.
(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)
Student : What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Prof: Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?
Student : You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something.
You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light....But if you
have no light constantly, you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it?
In reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be able to make darkness
darker, wouldn't you?
Prof: So what is the point you are making, young man?
Student : Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Prof: Flawed? Can you explain how?
Student : Sir, you are working on the premise of duality.
You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God.
You are viewing the concept of God as something finite,
something we can measure.
Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism,
but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as
the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a
substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.
Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a
monkey?
Prof: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.
Student : Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the
argument is going.)
Student : Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and
cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavour, are you not
teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?
(The class is in uproar.)
Student : Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor's brain?
(The class breaks out into laughter.)
Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain, felt it,
touched or smelt it?.....No one appears to have done so.
So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable
protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir.
With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?
(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face
unfathomable.)
Prof: I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.
Student : That is it sir.. The link between man & god is FAITH.
That is all that keeps things moving & alive.
Here is our class response to that question:
DOES GOD EXIST?
In modern societies, specially “The West”, many are confused when it comes to God and even more, when it comes to religion. The Reasons for this confusion are many. One of the main reasons being that in countries like the United States, people from all walks of life who practice different religions have left their homelands to work day and night in what has been deemed the “Pursuit of Happiness”. Even though, many of the people who come to America today interpret this phrase in a different context than that the forefathers. Today, people come for the so called “American Dream”: A house, a family and a well paying stable job. So simply put, people come to find worldly gain while one of the main motives of the forefathers and those of their time was to escape religious persecution and to Worship freely. Many Generations down the line, America has become a beacon of secularism, inspiring the world with many technological and scientific advancements. This extreme focus on the pursuit of material happiness tends to become very damaging to ones belief in God.
The Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) is reported to have said “The Love of this world is the Root of all evil”. So for those who love this world dearly, to believe in God is not an easy task. Reason being, to believe in God is to believe that true success is not in this life but rather after it. In this persons belief though, true success can be attained on earth then afterwards you die and that’s it. This ideology of success in this world has even crept into the beliefs of some Christians who believe and preach “The more you have, the more God loves you.” In The Qur’an Allah (S.W.T.) tells us “Verily, these (disbelievers) love the present life of this world, and put behind them a heavy Day (that will be hard).” Al-Insan [76:27]. Then comes the school system that year after year teaches our children about the theory of evolution without ever once explaining to them the definition and the importance of the word theory. Then in one year out of the 12, these kids are taught the basic practices of all major religions at once along with mythological religions, which I would believe could only cause more confusion.
Then comes the tradition of one following the religion of his or her parents, monkey see monkey do. Because of this, religion has become more of a cultural thing than anything else. Yet and still, every now and then you find a black sheep that can’t avoid the God given ability to think. The Sincere ones look through the religion which they found their family practicing and if the truth is not there, they leave it in search of the truth by the Grace of Allah. Then there are those who had valid reason for leaving what they have been taught but then decided to give up on God all together.
Anyone who is serious about finding out weather God Truly exists or is trying to find him, must be completely honest, humble and willing to except truth where they find it. This is usually not the case with the majority of atheists. These people, for the most part just want to argue and be disrespectful instead of thinking and reasoning. These are a people whose belief IS the disbelief of God. Now for those who are genuine, proving the existence of God to them should not be too difficult. Given that they have good, sound commonsense.
So now let us imagine that a non-believing human being who knows you are a Muslim comes up to you and says “Hey, I’m looking for proof that God exists and have not been successful in finding any.” At that moment, you must ask them “what is definition of a god, not The God, but rather a god”. A god is something that people worship and in worshipping it they expect something in return. A god can be an object, for example: handmade idols, the moon, the sun, human beings etc. A god can also be some type of ideology, for instance extreme secularism, where people become the center of praise and worship for their advancements in different secular fields, and the worth of the human being is measured by the stock market and or their bank accounts. Everybody worships a god weather they are aware of it or not, so the question becomes, “Is there a GOD, that is above all these ideologies and man-made concepts whose right it is to be worshipped by ever-single human being?”
Now begins a line of questions based on common sense.
Ask this person:
Suppose there is an equipment, that no one else in the world has seen before, if it’s brought in front of you, who will be the first person who will be able to tell you how this object Functions?
Most likely this persons’ reply will be something along the lines of “the manufacturer, the creator, the producer etc.”
How did our Universe come into existence? Most Likely the Atheist Will Say “The Big Bang”
“Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one united piece, then We parted them? And We have made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?” - Surah Al-Ambiya [21 Ayah 20 ]
Who could have said this 14 centuries ago? Never in the whole totality of human existence has a human seen something, come out of nothing and shared common-sense across the globe tells us that this is an impossibility. So how could something like the Universe and life on earth, not only come from nothing but also have happened by complete accident?
Sometime in the Last Century, Scientists discovered that the moon does not emit its own Light. Yes or No?
A true atheist will answer, “Yes.” Then you should go on to tell them,
“Blessed be He Who hath placed in the heaven mansions of the stars, and hath placed therein a great lamp and a Munnir (Barrowed or reflected Light) giving light! (61)-Al Furqan [S25 V61]
Ask, Who Could Have Mentioned this 1400 Years ago? They might say something like the “Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) may have been some kind of genius.” Do not argue this, just continue. Keep going on with this process using various Ayahs to make them think until they have to accept the fact that no human being could have known these things fourteen hundred years ago. The honest person will admit to the truth and inshaAllah will begin their studies of the Qur’an. The rebel will deny everything and some get angry, at that point recite to them
And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, you will notice a denial on the faces of the disbelievers! They are nearly ready to attack with violence those who recite Our Verses to them. Say: "Shall I tell you of something worse than that? The Fire (of Hell) which Allâh has promised to those who disbelieved, and worst indeed is that destination!"
and if they begin to argue about hell and haven Recite to them Surah an-Naba. Concerning what are they disputing? (1) Concerning the Great News, (2) About which they cannot agree. (3) Verily, they shall soon (come to) know! (4) Verily, verily they shall soon (come to) know! (5).
Do they then wait for anything other than that the angels should come to them, or that your Lord (Allah) should come, or that some of the Signs of your Lord should come (i.e. portents of the Hour e.g., arising of the sun from the west)! The day that some of the Signs of your Lord do come, no good will it do to a person to believe then, if he believed not before, nor earned good (by performing deeds of righteousness) through his Faith. Say: "Wait you! We too are waiting."
hope you can help this person.
